Leonard,
External forces have their place in impeding the progress and success of our institutions but we can easily overlook the greater danger that comes from within. We must examine ourselves to see if we are part of the solution or the problem.
You are right, we need to pray much.

Dear Han:

You mentioned once that the student enrollment had dropped, and yes, it is awful that it has. I figure that the Catholic Church has been working with other churches against our church -to discourage enrollment by their members in our schools; and I wonder if the pictures in the conversation books also has something to do with it. I would prefer the conversation books not having any pictures. And lastly, during your talk during Mission Day, in one of your slides of Samyook University where you are at, there was a triangle logo that seemed to go with the school. That triangle pyramid may be point to the root of the problem -not a Christian symbol. We need much prayer. May the Lord bless our schools.

The retreat you guys went to is just for the teachers at the institutes, that’s why I wasn’t there for that one.
Anyhow, I hope it was a blessing.
I think I read about Pr. Batchelor going to UAE in one of the newsletters from Amazing Facts. That’s great what they are doing.

This quote (as well as your other ones) is so true, which is why it feels great doing missionary work.

You know, I thought I would see you at SDA’s Spiritual Retreat last weekend. But I’m sure that your school has similar programs as well.

By the way, last month Amazing Facts had an article on its webpage saying that Pr. Batchelor is planning on going to United Arab Emirates and to Indonesia to encourage SDA’s found in those places; and I plan to support him with prayers and some funds with God’s help, while doing the same overhere.

Luke 6:45 reminds me of: “Ye shall know them by their fruits” (Matthew 7:16).

Earlier today you asked me about my religious background, and yes, I’ve always been an SDA, but although I believe in EGW, my focus is on the Bible as the ultimate authority.
